My name is Yu-Hsun Chou and I am an international graduate student from George Mason University, majoring in Applied and Engineering Physics. I believe that my strong academic background performing physics position me as a candidate for working at General Atomics.
During my process of education, I concentrated on physical medicine and was inspired by my professor. When I was an undergraduate student, I took a class which named biomedical physics. It is a useful course that develop my base knowledge about imaging technology such as MRI and CT. In this class, I learned how to distinguish the diffusion imaging between hemorrhagic stroke and ischemic stroke. In addition, we had group discussion about helping students’ critical thinking. Moreover, I joined in our university’s natural science research society to increase interpersonal relationships and listing scholars’ experiences. In the graduate degree, I kept on applied physics to develop my ability in professional area.
